Taylor Mackin, former Minooka Community High School standout, played on Saturday, Feb. 8 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Minooka Community High School standout Taylor Mackin’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Colgate Raiders.

The game took place at GCU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Raiders this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 11:25 a.m. at Lamson Park against Central Arkansas Bears.
