Minooka Community High School (MCHS) will hold its annual Veterans Day Assembly and breakfast on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to honor local veterans. The breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. at the South Campus, located at 26655 West Eames Street, Channahon, Illinois. The assembly will take place at South Campus from 8:51 to 9:41 a.m. and at Central Campus, 301 South Wabena Avenue, Minooka, Illinois, from 10:18 to 11:08 a.m. Attendees can register for the breakfast and assemblies by completing a provided form. For questions, the school can be contacted at 815-521-4108 or aseidel@mchs.net.

The school is also seeking assistance from the local community to update its Military Honor Wall before the event. Families of students are encouraged to send photos of family members who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces, including extended family such as cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

“As Americans, we have set aside November 11th, Veterans Day, to reflect, remember and honor those who served in the United States Armed Forces,” said Jamie Soliman, Principal of Minooka Community High School. “Today there are approximately 17.6 million veterans living among us. We honor them by teaching younger generations about their sacrifices on our behalf. Educators are instrumental to these efforts,” continued Soliman.

Photos can be submitted via an online form or emailed to aseidel@mchs.net by November 3, 2025. Hard copies may also be brought to the main office at either campus to be scanned.
