Village of Minooka approves ordinance allowing permitted golf carts on village streets

An ordinance permitting the use of golf carts on Village of Minooka streets was approved at the September 2025 Village Board meeting. Residents who wish to operate golf carts on public roads must obtain a permit and have their vehicles inspected.

Applications for permits are available at the Minooka Police Department during regular office hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
