Minooka Community High School (MCHS) is now accepting nominations for its 3rd annual Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The Hall of Fame seeks to honor the school's outstanding athletes, coaches, and teams who have contributed significantly to its athletic history.
"The character of the inductees, along with the dedication to their specific sport, exemplifies the type of student who attends MCHS past, present, and future," said Matt Williams, MCHS Athletic Director. "It’s a great way to honor those deserving individuals who created an impressive MCHS legacy with the Athletic Hall of Fame."
The new class will be introduced on Friday, October 3, 2025, after the sophomore football game against Plainfield Central High School. The sophomore game begins at 4:30 p.m. and ends around 6:30 p.m., followed by the Varsity game at 7 p.m.
A dinner event will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at St. Mary’s Parish Hall at 6 p.m., where the committee will honor the Class of 2025 and their families. Further details are available on the Athletics web page at www.mchs.net/page/athletics.
Nominations are open for individual athletes, teams, coaches, or special merit individuals until March 27, 2025. Previous nominations will automatically roll over to this year. For questions or more information about nominations, contact AthleticHallofFame@mchs.net.
