Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 68.4% of Minooka Junior High School’s student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 717 white students enrolled in Minooka Junior High School in the 2022-23 school year, 1.7% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that the school welcomed 1,048 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 68.4% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

The school is located in Minooka Community Consolidated School District 201 with a central office in Minooka.

Among the seven schools in Minooka Community Consolidated School District 201, Minooka Junior High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 1,048 students.

Illinois registered one of the largest enrollment drops during the pandemic. Since 2020, the Prarie State lost nearly 118,000 students, further intensifying a decline trend established since 2013.
